FedEx seeks US FAA approval to put in anti-missile know-how on cargo flights: Report

FedEx Company which is a transport and logistic firm, has requested the US’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for authorization to put in an anti-missile know-how on cargo flights to defend them towards heat-seeking missiles. In line with a submitting on Friday, FAA said that FedEx had requested permission so as to add the missile-defense system. The company indicated, “FedEx missile-defense system directs infrared laser vitality towards an incoming missile, in an effort to interrupt the missile’s monitoring of the plane’s warmth,” CNN reported.
