MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, MI – Muskegon Heights Metropolis Supervisor Troy Bell will probably be out of a job when his contract expires in every week.
Town council voted 4-3 Monday evening to not renew Bell’s three-year contract that expires Jan. 31.
No purpose was given for the choice. Bell couldn’t be reached for remark.
Those that responded to MLive’s request for remark — Mayor Water Watt and Mayor Professional-Tem Ronald Jenkins — have been very disturbed by the choice. Watt stated it has left town in a “state of emergency.”
“It’s completely the worst resolution that might have been made within
